UltraSight, a developer of AI-guided cardiac imaging technology, has raised $24 million in Series B2 financing to support commercial expansion across the US and development of new software for intensive care and circulatory support settings. Alive HealthTech Grow Fund led the round with an undisclosed investment, with participation from Mayo Clinic Ventures, NYU, Iron Nation, Deep Insight, Star51 Capital, Connecticut Innovations, and eHealth Ventures.

The company's Ecosystem platform uses training curriculum and real-time AI guidance to enable clinical providers, regardless of prior sonography experience, to perform focused echocardiograms under physician oversight. The software is compatible with existing ultrasound equipment and does not require new hardware. As of September 2026, more than 10 commercial sites have integrated the platform into clinical workflows.

Alongside the funding, UltraSight announced three new board appointments: Alive co-founding and managing partner Dudi Klein, Star51 Capital founding managing partner Tal Wenderow, and Deep Insight managing partner Barak Ben-Eliezer.

For UltraSight, the round supports translating an expanding FDA-cleared product portfolio into broader commercial adoption. For the broader MedTech space, it adds to continued investment in addressing a longstanding structural constraint in cardiac care: reliable access to ultrasound imaging has depended on a limited pool of trained sonographers for roughly two decades, according to UltraSight Chair Rick Geoffrion, a bottleneck that AI-guided acquisition tools are increasingly positioned to help ease.

CEO Davidi Vortman said the financing will help "expediting care for patients who simply cannot afford to wait."
