StimCardio Medical, a Los Angeles-based clinical-stage company, has closed an oversubscribed $30 million Series A led by Metis Medtech, the family office of founder and CEO John Slump. Catalyst Health Ventures, multiple corporate strategic investors, and other new and existing investors also participated. The funding is expected to cover the planned NeuroPulse 2 pivotal study and preparation for a De Novo submission to the FDA.

The company’s lead product, Rhyvive, is an investigational wrist-worn device that delivers personalized, non-invasive median nerve stimulation through a closed-loop system combining physiological sensing and neuromodulation. It is designed as an adjunct to catheter ablation, extending treatment into the home with the aim of reducing recurrent atrial arrhythmias. About 59 million people worldwide live with atrial fibrillation, and roughly 30% to 40% experience recurrence after an initial ablation.

The financing follows the NeuroPulse 1 pilot, a randomized, double-blind, sham-controlled study presented at HRX Live 2026 and published in Heart Rhythm. It showed a statistically significant reduction in recurrent atrial arrhythmia events with active stimulation compared with sham. NeuroPulse 2 will be a multicenter pivotal trial comparing ablation plus the wearable against ablation alone.

CEO Amir Soltanianzadeh said the goal is “a new therapeutic category in cardiac electrophysiology.” For the broader MedTech space, the round extends neuromodulation into cardiology, aimed at a recurrence problem that advances like pulsed field ablation have not eliminated.
