Coreline Soft, a Seoul-based medical imaging AI company, has received FDA 510(k) clearance for AVIEW Aorta Metrics, its aortic quantitative analysis software. The clearance, received on October 16, is the company’s 13th from the FDA.

The software automatically segments the aorta from chest CT images, classifies aortic zones, and measures the diameter of each zone to support consistent quantitative evaluation. It also provides straightened curved planar reformation, cross-sectional and 3D views, and analysis reports.
The clearance extends the U.S. AVIEW portfolio beyond lung nodule detection and coronary artery calcium analysis into aortic assessment, so a single chest CT can yield multiple quantitative measures. The company ties the strategy to growing U.S. interest in opportunistic screening, which uses existing scans without additional imaging, and to quantitative imaging biomarkers that fit into PACS and radiology workflows.
Coreline is also working on integration. It is advancing PACS-based “zero-click” automation with INFINITT North America, exploring a broader lung nodule pathway with Optellum, and has collaborated with Oatmeal Health on lung cancer risk assessment and reimbursement approaches.
For the broader MedTech space, the clearance reflects continued demand for AI that extracts more value from CT scans already taken.
