Sales & Commercial Development Manager EMEA
About the company
Our client is a highly regarded international medical technology company specialising in premium surgical access and retraction systems used in spine and other complex surgical procedures.
The company works with leading global medical device manufacturers, specialist implant companies and independent distribution partners. Its products are known for their technical quality, innovation and ability to support highly specialised surgical approaches.
The business is now investing in the next stage of its international growth and is seeking an experienced commercial leader to develop its presence across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
About the role
As Sales & Commercial Development Manager, EMEA, you will be responsible for expanding and strengthening the company’s commercial network across the region.
A major part of the role will involve identifying, appointing and developing distribution partners in new and underpenetrated markets, while also managing and improving the performance of established distributors. You will work closely with experienced channel partners, helping them build stronger market plans, develop surgeon relationships and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
You will also support strategic OEM relationships across EMEA, working with regional teams from major medical device manufacturers to support product launches, sales training, clinical education, laboratory activity and market development. Global OEM contracts will continue to be managed centrally, but you will play an important role in ensuring their successful regional execution.
This is not primarily a direct hospital sales role. However, you will maintain close contact with surgeons, clinical stakeholders and healthcare providers, supporting product demonstrations, clinical education and selected direct commercial opportunities where appropriate.
The role reports directly to the US-based Chief Commercial Officer and offers significant autonomy, executive exposure and the opportunity to shape the company’s long-term EMEA growth strategy.
The position can be based in the UK or elsewhere in Europe, ideally with good access to major transport links.
