About the company

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a track record of selling into the NHS? Do you thrive on building strategic partnerships, navigating complex healthcare environments and driving commercial growth?

A leading innovator in digital pathology, AI-powered diagnostics and cancer diagnostic services is looking for a Regional Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across the Midlands.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation at the forefront of transforming cancer diagnostics, helping NHS pathology services improve capacity, reduce reporting times and ultimately deliver better patient outcomes.

The Role

You'll take ownership of a high-potential territory, developing new NHS partnerships while expanding existing customer relationships. Working autonomously, you'll engage clinicians, pathology departments, procurement teams and senior healthcare stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage complex sales cycles and deliver long-term commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory growth plans to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Identify, qualify and win new NHS business opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with key NHS decision-makers and clinical stakeholders.
  • Deliver compelling customer presentations, proposals and commercial negotiations.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM.
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences and exhibitions while sharing market intelligence.

About you

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in business development, healthcare sales or account management.
  • A successful track record of selling into the NHS.
  • Experience managing complex, relationship-led sales cycles.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A self-motivated, organised approach with the flexibility to travel across the region.

Experience in urology, diagnostics, pathology, laboratory services, digital pathology, medical devices or healthcare technology would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of cancer diagnostics, LIMS or PACS.

If you're passionate about improving patient care, enjoy building lasting NHS partnerships and want to represent genuinely innovative healthcare solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
