About the role
As part of an exciting transformation, the company is seeking an experienced President / Managing Director level candidate to lead its largest and most established business unit for surgical implants. This executive will have full business responsibility, driving profitable growth through the leadership of commercial strategy, product development and portfolio management while partnering with an experienced executive leadership team. The role offers significant autonomy, direct exposure to the CEO and the opportunity to shape the future of a high-growth global business with multiple product launches planned over the coming years.
Please note the role requires on site presence daily.
About you
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Business Unit Leader, President, Managing Director or equivalent with full P&L ownership.
- Demonstrated success leading sales, marketing and product management within a medical device or other highly regulated technology business.
- Strong commercial leadership with a track record of accelerating revenue growth, improving profitability and executing business strategy.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams including commercial, marketing, R&D and product development.
- History of building and developing high-performing leadership teams.
- Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, hands-on environment where leaders take ownership across the business.
- Experience in mid-sized, high-growth companies is strongly preferred.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution and decision-making.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting and business performance.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
- Willingness to work 100% onsite at the company's headquarters near Los Angeles.
