Siemens Healthineers has secured up to $31.1M from ARPA-H to develop autonomous, remotely operated robotic technology for acute ischemic stroke treatment. The five-year project will combine robotics, AI and imaging to enable long-distance thrombectomy with minimal human input, with Stryker participating as a sub-awardee.

Lupin Dental raises €15M Series A to advance dental robotics
French dental robotics company Lupin Dental has raised €15M in Series A funding, led by Fynveur with a €10M investment, alongside existing and new investors and a Bpifrance loan. The funding will support the company’s next phase of growth and development of its next-generation dental robotics platform.

Shape Memory Medical raises $10M to advance aortic clinical trials
Shape Memory Medical has raised $10M in convertible note financing, led by August Global Partners, to advance clinical development of its aortic portfolio. The funding will support follow-up and data collection for the AAA-SHAPE pivotal trial and progress the FLAGSHIP study in aortic dissection.

Highland Instruments secures $200K grant to advance brain stimulation platform
Highland Instruments has received a $200K non-dilutive START Stage II grant from MassVentures to advance its ESStim™ noninvasive brain stimulation platform toward commercialization. The funding will support product development, clinical advisory work, quality systems, reimbursement planning and go-to-market preparation, initially targeting Parkinson’s disease.
