Medtronic invests $700M in Cornerstone Robotics, adds Sentire to surgical portfolio

Medtronic is investing approximately $700M in Cornerstone Robotics, gaining rights to distribute its Sentire surgical system in select markets outside the U.S. Sentire will complement Medtronic’s Hugo RAS platform, giving hospitals greater choice across robotic-assisted surgery.

Elucid raises $55M oversubscribed Series D to advance AI cardiovascular platform

Elucid has raised $55M in an oversubscribed Series D, bringing its total funding to approximately $185M. The funding will support commercialization of its AI-powered cardiovascular imaging platform, including FFR-CT and Plaque-IQ™, while advancing clinical studies, AI R&D and strategic partnerships with leading medtech companies.

Strolll secures €5M in Innovate UK funding and new investment

Strolll has secured €5M from Innovate UK, alongside additional investment led by IW Capital, to advance its AR-based neurorehabilitation platform. Funding will support AI-powered clinical assessment and StrolllAcute, an AR rehabilitation system designed for acute, bed-bound patients.
