Cardinal Health has acquired urology-focused medical supplier Strive Medical and AdaptHealth’s diabetes business in a combined $360 million deal aimed at strengthening its at-home care solutions platform.
The acquisitions expand Cardinal’s capabilities across diabetes management and urology, building on previous investments including Advanced Diabetes Supply and several urology providers. The company said the transactions will support its strategy to deliver scalable, patient-focused home care solutions across the U.S.
“These strategic transactions build on the synergies created by our recent investments in home care,” said Jason Hollar, CEO of Cardinal Health. “They expand our enterprise-wide depth and breadth across important therapeutic categories like diabetes management and urology, further strengthening our leadership in a highly dynamic industry.”
Cardinal’s at-home solutions business provides medical supplies directly to patients and supports hospital-at-home programs. The company said recent acquisitions have expanded its reach, including nearly 500,000 new customers added following the Advanced Diabetes Supply integration, while creating a broader platform for growth in home-based care.
