We’re looking for a highly motivated Technical Support Specialist to join a leading medical technology company within the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) space. This field-based role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with life-saving cardiac devices, supporting clinical teams across Northern Ireland.

You’ll provide technical expertise during implantations and follow-ups, train healthcare professionals, and act as a key clinical contact across a wide territory. It’s a high-impact role that combines technical knowledge, clinical presence, and customer-facing service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support during device implantations and patient follow-up
  • Assist with clinical trials, troubleshooting, product configurations, and upgrades
  • Deliver product training to internal teams and healthcare professionals
  • Build strong relationships with cardiologists, EPs, and clinical teams at key accounts
  • Coordinate with sales and product teams to support business development
  • Support regional and national events, congresses, and training sessions
  • Maintain compliance with reporting processes, documentation, and quality standards

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Background in Cardiac Physiology, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience working in CRM, ideally in pacemaker/ICD/CRT clinics or field roles
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and device therapy
  • Confident communicator — able to clearly explain complex technical issues to clinical teams
  • Comfortable with high travel demands (50–70%) and occasional on-call support
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and excellent organisational skills
  • Full UK driver’s license required

Preferred (But Not Essential):

  • IBHRE or HRUK certification in cardiac devices or EP
  • Experience supporting implantations or working in a Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Familiarity with device interrogation, troubleshooting, and data interpretation

This is a fantastic opportunity for a CRM professional who thrives in the field, enjoys building relationships with clinical stakeholders, and wants to make a difference by supporting cutting-edge cardiac technology.
