Our client is a clinical-stage R&D company that is developing an innovative treatment for solid tumour oncology.

We are looking for an experienced medical device Operations Manager with a strong focus on Supply Chain to join the team.

The main tasks of the role are in two key functional areas: Project management in terms of operational tasks and Supply Chain Management of product components and services suppliers.

The role reports to the Head of Manufacturing & Operations.

PLEASE NOTE the role is remote but requires travel to Italy every month for a few days.

Requirements:

• Relevant University degree , preferred in a medical or scientific discipline.
• Strong supply chain management in a medical device company.
• Proven Project management experience in a medical device company.
• A proven track record of successful operational management in a small or medium-sized company.
• Excellent knowledge of medical device regulations - specifically ISO 13485 and FDA/MDR are a must.
• Experience in releasing pharmaceutical and/or medical device batches of products in US and/or in EU of clinical investigational and/or marketed products.
• Proven track record of building successful relationship with suppliers/contractors
• Hands-on attitude.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management.
• Ability to work is small and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English language is a must.
• Ability to travel regularly to Italy.
