PART TIME – 25HR CONTRACT 

Our client is a small independent UK business with 20yrs of history in the Orthopaedics Industry. The business is currently undergoing significant and sustained global growth with movement into new regional markets. In connection with this ongoing development, the business has identified a strategic requirement for an energetic Marketing Specialist to join the burgeoning commercial organisation in the UK.

The role is with a permanent contract with flexible working hours of 25h/ weekly.

The person in that role will be engaged with the development of the regional marketing plans and activities aligned with the global and local strategic commercial plan to differentiate the company's products, technologies, and medical education initiatives within the European market.

Key responsibilities:

·        Organise all aspects of company participation in relevant industry congresses - from registration to post-event follow up

·        Participate in strategic planning and actively support quarterly, annual & long-term planning and forecasting to support demand planning and new product launches

·        Maintain ongoing communication with customers

·        Manage marketing communication relationships with 3rd parties such as printing house, translation agencies, etc.

·        Reports to Commercial Manager and Global Marketing Manager and works closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, IT, Legal & Supply Chain


Key qualifications and experience:

·        Orthopaedics background is a must,  ideally with expertise in FOOT AND ANKLE or Extremities though Reconstructive, Trauma, Orthobiologics or Spine could be considered

·        Fluency in English, both written and spoken, any additional language would be considered a plus

·        Experience in executing all aspects of the marketing projects, and project presentations as well as outstanding  IT literacy

·        Smart and organised personality with the ability to prioritise effectively and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

·        Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and customer service skills
