Our client is an innovative company operating within the field of medical devices. Though exceptionally well established, the business runs in a state of perpetual innovation, continually developing new technologies and enhancing the patient experience. In order to meet and generate demand for the company, we have been tasked with identifying and recruiting a skilled and experienced Clinical Sales Specialist to cover the West London region of the UK.

The successful candidate should be an excellent goal-driven communicator who has outstanding sales and analytical skills and understands customer needs.

Key Responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Overall responsibility for the financial output of the region
  • Collaboration with Marketing and Sales leadership in the creation and implementation of a region-specific sales strategy
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key hospital stakeholders
  • Natural ability to leverage key stakeholder relationships to gain access to decision-makers
  • Effectively target new business through the use of analytical tools
  • Ability to manage customer requirements effectively, and where appropriate improve and increase the scope of the product offering they are utilising

In order to be considered for this position candidates must closely match the following reference profile:

  • At least 5 years of successful previous experience in sales of medical devices 
  • ODP Surgical Clinical or ITU/Critical Care clinical background
  • Proven sales success in the acute care hospital environment and managing capital sales
  • Ability to influence high-level purchasing decisions and manage relationships effectively
  • Willingness and drive to travel extensively within the assigned region up to 80% of the time
