Our client is a global designer, developer and manufacturer of market-leading medical aesthetic device technologies. The business is going through significant and rapid growth across the globe. As part of their development, they are now looking for an experienced professional to join their team in Barcelona, Spain as Marketing Manager Europe.
Marketing Manager Europe will be accountable for the successful translation of the company’s purpose, and global marketing strategy and vision, into the European markets. This role will work closely with Global Marketing, Operational Marketing and Medical Education to create and implement effective downstream marketing strategies and drive execution. They will actively contribute to leading the business towards continued growth and organisational development while building best-in-class marketing capabilities.
The position is based in Barcelona and the person should be present at the office 3-4 days per week
Responsibilities:
- Interpret Global Strategy and ensure excellent tactical execution of the strategy of the global and local marketing campaigns.
- Partner with the Global Marketing team on the Strategic Management and Implementation of global initiatives.
- Seek regional and local opportunities B2B & B2B2C to develop in collaboration with Global Marketing.
- Guarantee Go-to-market Marketing Plan standardization and collaborate across functions to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Work closely with Global Marketing for product positioning / messaging and forecasting for new product opportunities and advise local markets on how best to develop successful and scalable local marketing plans
- Create metrics and develop data analysis to support the strategic vision and decision-making process when it comes to return on investment as well as ensure optimal market analysis through standardisation
- Develop and manage assigned budgets for marketing activities and be responsible for delivering all projects, events & initiatives on time and on budget across the area.
- Provide support in the launch of New Products and Campaigns.
- Leads and directs regional agency partners
Requirements:
- Solid background and track record of successful operational marketing experience within the aesthetics/beauty industry/medical devices
- Extensive experience in developing and executing marketing campaign development strategies
- Excellent Financial acumen, including superior budgeting, forecasting, analysis
- Digital Marketing Insights and Social Media knowledge (Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, main metrics/KPIs, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, problem-solving approach
- Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach with strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken are essential for the position
- Hands-on doer with strong leadership
- Availability and willingness to travel (Approximately 50%)
