Our customer is a leading Swiss SME and developer of cutting edge High-Tech Medical Device technology. A disruptor in their field with a strong Engineering core originating at Bern University, though now employing some of the brightest minds in Electronics, Mechatronics, physics and Software development. We have been tasked to identify and recruit a Full Stack Engineer Software Architecture to join their team in Bern, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Support software specification and planning
• Create and maintain software architectures
• Refine and transfer software architecture to code
• Ensure quality through software testing
• Contribute to technical and regulatory documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with project-based software development in industrial setting
• Excellent skills in object-oriented programming (if possible, in C++)
• Experience with UI development in Qt, ideally in QML
• Fluency in English
• Very good knowledge of software architecture and design, ideally in enterprise architecture
• Experience with medical image processing such as VTK or ITK would be considered an advantage
