Field Service Engineer - Estonia

Our client is a high technology Medical Device company operating within the Radiation Oncology sector experiencing exceptional growth as it continues to invest heavily in increasing the size of its customer base. To ensure the incredibly high standards of customer service are maintained we have been retained to identify and recruit a Field Service Engineer to provide technical assistance to customers.
The Position will focus on the provision of technical support, reporting directly to the Regional Service Manager. The region of the role would be focused mainly outside of Estonia and covering Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia.
Key Responsibilities for the position will include:
- Carry out initial installation, support and ongoing maintenance of company products
- Ensure all sites within the region are optimised fully upon installation and meet requirements
- Ensure efficient responses to breakdown (reactive)
- Provide ongoing maintenance (scheduled)
- Effectively communicate and provide a point of contact on technical issues and installations for customers
In order to be considered for this position candidates must closely match the following reference profile:
- Technical qualification
- Previous experience as Field Engineer with electromechanical and IT skills, ideally from the medical industry
- Diagnostic Hardware experience, SQL knowledge is desirable
- Windows 10 and Windows 7; Registry editing; TCP IP Networking; Windows Updates; Com Ports; Firewalls; OS Upgrades; using Windows Images.
- Experience of and competency in replacing PC components
- Firewall configuration knowledge
- First-class fault finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and work with technical drawings and architects’ drawings
- Ability and willingness to travel extensivelly
