Our client, a globally active provider of world-leading Medical Device technologies, is currently looking to add a commercial leader to their team as a National Sales Manager – France.

The company are highly competitive within the surgical device industry and the new National Sales Manager will be expected to drive further growth in this key area for the company.

The Sales Manager will take full responsibility for the maximisation of sales within the assigned region. Working with sales leadership and clinical support to promote the technology to potential new customers and ensuring first-class ongoing service to existing customers, upgrading their product package where possible.

Key Responsibilities for the position will include:

  • Devising and implementing effective national sales strategies
  • Monitor and work to continuously improve the output of frontline sales team members
  • Provide ongoing guidance and coaching where necessary as well as submit final plans to Sales Director EMEA for approval
  • Collaborate with EMEA regional leadership team to ensure consistent processes and share best practices
  • Through first-class market understanding provide monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasting
  • Ensure uniformity in the quality of sales service provided by each member of the team.


In order to be considered for this position, candidates must closely match the following reference profile:

  • Demonstrable track record of experience in managing and driving sales excellence in a dynamic sales team
  • Working knowledge of Surgical Medical Devices market, ideally Endoscopic or GI sales experience
  • Experience of the Healthcare Public system in France
  • High level of fluency in spoken and written English
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently as necessary 
  • Enthusiastic and motivating personality
  • Ability to effectively manage and draw the best from varying personalities and styles within a sales team
