Tender Manager

Our client is a global medical devices company pioneering infection prevention technology that has seen significant growth in their product portfolio and sales in the current environment.
Due to high demand of our client's products and in line with their aims, the business is now looking to add a Tender Manager to the team. This role is based 50% out of the company office in Halifax and 50% remotely.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Project manage the bid submission ensuring all Pre-Qualification Questionnaire, Request for Information and Tender responses are produced to professional standards and fully representing our client’s brand, and are submitted on time
- Build contracts and solutions achieving the dual aims of compliance and business success
- Monitoring of the bid management in order to ensure it is aligned with the organization's requirements and be responsible for submitting agreed documentation and pricing
- Build and leverage professional relationships with customers and partners
- Clarification of bid conditions and management of the tender preparation and be responsible for building a project plan and setting deadlines on Bid submission documents.
- Interface effectively with multiple internal stakeholders including; Legal, Sales, Customer Service, Accounting and Logistics teams
- Advise sales and leadership team on contractual matters arising and where necessary liaise with external legal team to review and clarify Tender documents

Key skills and experience required:
- Degree-level education or equivalent in a relevant field
- 5 years of tendering experience within a regulated industry
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Public Procurement Regulation
- Fast learner with strong IT skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational, time- and people-management skills
- Experience in handling confidential information
- Able to perform under pressure and deliver projects against tight deadlines
